Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to buy a ski pass?
Yes, a ski pass is required for everyone, both children and adults, except for those in Club Piou Piou.
For children under 5 years old, the ski pass is free and can be collected at the lift ticket office with proof of age. It allows access to at least the Cable Car or Gondola to reach the Piou Piou Club.
For more information, please visit our "Choose my ski pass" page or consult the online lift ticket office directly: Altiservice Saint-Lary
Is the equipment included in the lessons?
No, the esf does not provide ski or snowboard equipment.
  • To get equipped, please visit one of the many rental shops available in the resort or village.
  • For off-piste lessons, safety equipment (avalanche transceiver, backpack) is provided, subject to availability.
  • For Handiski lessons, the sit-ski is supplied.
We recommend checking your equipment needs in advance to make the most of your lessons!
Morning, afternoon, or full-day lessons: how to choose?
You know your children best, so be careful not to ask too much of them.
Choose lesson times that suit your child's needs. If your little one still takes naps or finds it hard to wake up early, opt for a schedule that respects their natural rhythm.
A well-rested child learns better and enjoys their time on the slopes even more!
What is the Top Glisse course?
A unique experience designed for progress in a small group and the best possible conditions.
During school holidays, enjoy a lesson limited to 8 participants, scheduled from 12:30 to 2:30.
Avoid the crowds, ski on ideal snow, and improve your skills in a friendly, exclusive atmosphere.
What happens if the minimum number of participants is not reached outside school holidays or on weekends?
Group lessons require a minimum of 5 participants.
Outside school holidays or on weekends, if there are fewer registrations:
  • 3 or 4 participants: the lesson is shortened to 1 hour 30 minutes per day.
  • 2 participants: the lesson lasts 1 hour per day.
  • 1 participant: the lesson is cancelled and refunded.
